Being active and living a healthy lifestyle means making  "body decisions" daily. As parents the "body decisions" we make also affect our children as we tend to make the same decisions for them as they grow.  As strength and conditioning professionals, we play a pivotal role in increasing levels of fitness and athleticism and reducing the risk of injuries in our clients of all ages.
 

The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) recommends that youth begin a strength and conditioning program at around the same time they begin playing youth sports and evidence shows that all fitness attributes are trainable across childhood and adolescence.  That being the case, aspiring young athletes can start resistance training as young as age eight, which has been shown to enhance athleticism and reduce the risk of injury.


Jeremy and Jeanette provide strength and conditioning and healthy lifestyle coaching to young athletes using the knowledge we gained both as youth athletes ourselves and through our ongoing training and education.  


Youth Strength Training Workshop

  • Workshop breakouts: Ages (10-12) (13-15) (16-18)
  • Teach basic fundamentals of strength training
  • Deliver safe and effective strength training activities 
  • Focus on activities that improve strength, balance, and flexibility
  • Reinforce the importance of injury prevention
  • Demonstrate age appropriate progression
  • Encourage parents to participate in the activities
